Office 365 - Mail Items Not Switching Read/Unread

Hello

 

We are having issues with Outlook clients not always reading items. By this I mean a user can read an item on PC1 and then when they move to PC2 and open Outlook it's sitll unread. We are using Online Outlook mode, rather than cached exchange.

 

I have tried Microsoft support and not got anywhere with them. Has anybody had something similar

Had this problem for years. It only happened to the odd message every now and then. It was still happening the say we dumped outlook and office 365.

 

I do think it is an outlook problem than office 365

Happens here all the time - not just on a second machine either. You can read a message but it still remains as unread when you come back later

I think the problem was being caused by cached exchange mode... as soon as we turned that off and put Outlook into Online mode the issue seems to have gone away
