Been asked to block the google translator that you get if you just search.

 

Students have been warned as they keep using it to abuse each other and now it needs to go.

 

Have blocked the translate.google.com but this doesnt stop the google embedded translator you get if you search for 'translate'.

 

Its the audio that causing the issues.

 

When im there, i just tell them to stop or they will have no sound from then on.

I would disable the speakers on the AIO but it seems all the headphones have been stolen.

Smoothwall has a translation category, but from what I can see if you block

 

google.co.uk/async/translate

 

That should block the embedded one :)

Haven't got Smoothwall just yet, still on the limited LEA Netsweeper :(

 

Added that, seems to have blocked the sound on my machine. Translator still work but no audio so that may do the job ta.
