pickman Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Not for school but me personally. Leaving my current position and starting a new job:rockon:. Unfortunately means will have to give up the Ipad I have had through the school. Any recommendations on budget tablets. doesn’t need to be too fancy just to run things like Iplayer, amazon prime, Google apps and social media. Looked at Amazon fire but doesn't run Google.
dhicks Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 Not for school but me personally. I'm still Impressed by the Asus Chromebook Flip C100PA - we have 230 around school for the children's use, and they're proving versatile and pretty robust. We got our last batch for £200 from John Lewis, they might still have some stock in. 1

pickman Posted November 15, 2017 Author Posted November 15, 2017 I'm still using nexus 7 2013 what version of android is that running now?
pickman Posted December 6, 2017 Author Posted December 6, 2017 although I dismissed it I went for a Amazon fire 8 HD 32GB as it was such a good price and just for entertainment it does the job. As i have both Amazon prime and Netflix its good. browser leaves a little to be desired and lack of google can be a bit frustrating sometimes but I then just use my laptop.
