I grabbed myself a non-working ZX81 from Ebay a couple of weeks back with a bit of a plan in mind.

I would get a ZX81 and ZX Spectrum and get them framed as they are small, light and I suspected, would make great decorations for the house.

I've just got the ZX81 back and it looks the business.

 

 

 

Now to source a Spectrum which is in good condition (don't want a shabby one on the wall!).

Some suggested doing a ZX80, but they are very expensive and it would feel a bit wrong to do that to such a rare machine.

A QL would be an idea but would be too heavy I suspect.
