We are looking for an experienced IT professional to lead our Implementation Team. This is a new function within the Information Technology Services team at the Trust Office. The focus is on delivering technical projects across the organisation. Some of these are “IT” initiated projects and some are the technical elements of wider organisational change projects.

 

The implementation team consists of a project manager and two technical specialists. You will also be expected to manage external contractors and third parties engaged on a project-by-project basis.

 

Our project landscape is a complex one with multiple-interconnecting projects all being delivered at the same time. A strong ability to prioritise work is essential. You will need to be able to focus on the details of project delivery, whilst also setting the pace and direction of change. However, this is not a project or programme manager role, you will need to be hands-on with the technical side of project delivery. Therefore, technical ability and a track record of delivering technical projects are essential.

 

We have a wide technical platform, with schools invested in Apple, Google, and Microsoft technologies, you will need to be agnostic to them all. Previous experience of working in education is desirable, but not essential.
