E_G_R2 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Hi, situation: pupil has left school under a cloud and no one told me so their account is/was live. They have sent a mildly offensive email to all pupils via a distributions list. Can anyone help: Is there a way of deleting said message from exchange online that someone knows? Off to google
pcstru Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Yes, differs by version, these links should help you get started : Deleting a Specific Email from Entire Organization in Exchange 2010 - CareExchange.in https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/exchange/2010/10/27/removing-specific-messages-from-your-exchange-server/
HPlum78 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Exchange online you need the following rather than me trying to explain it :- https://support.office.com/en-gb/article/Search-for-and-delete-email-messages-in-your-Office-365-organization-Admin-Help-3526fd06-b45f-445b-aed4-5ebd37b3762a You can just use the Security & Compliance web @ protection.office.com if you do not want to get into the PowerShell! 1
