denmyos Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Hi I having FF starting up with windows and load a webpage. But since FF is so fast the NIC is not ready when FF starts up, so FF finds nothing. Is there anyway to make FF start slower to give time for the NIC to be ready. Or to have FF do multiple search until it finds the webpage. I'm using msconfig to start up FF. Thanks
ADMaster Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Start it via a powershell script and put in a sleep time before the program starts.
denmyos Posted November 1, 2017 Author Posted November 1, 2017 start-sleep -seconds 10 start-process firefox.exe "http://nameofwebsite" the start-process firefox.exe works but when i put start-sleep -seconds 10 in front, the start-process dont work.?
Arthur Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 (edited) 2 lines Only 1 line if you do it like this (and you won't need a script either)... C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Command "Start-Sleep -Seconds 5; Start-Process 'C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe' https://www.google.co.uk" Obviously change IE to Firefox.
