Anyone use EntrySign?

Hi all,

 

We're looking at visitor systems, having previously had (And returned due to it being terrible!) - SGWorld Visit ED

 

We've had demo's of both inventry and Entrysign - Entrysign looks good but just wondering if anyone else has used it or has it up and running in their schools as currently there's not much on here about it (Mostly inventry!), If so, what do they think about it?

One of the sites I visit has it and the rest have inventry and I have to say the inventry kit is better in my opinion, to use technically and as a user. Entrysign to me seems a bit clunky and slow, at the face it doesn't a look as appealing as inventry either. Is there a reason you would rather have EntrySign?

ah ok - I think it was more about their being quite a bit of negative feedback recently about inventry on this forum so I was seeing what else was out there before just going for inventry, as a demo we had previously was very good.

I don't think their support is the greatest but I have never had any issues with it, then again I could just be that one lucky person.

We have an older version of EntrySign (installed in 2014), and it seems to work fine for us. Our version doesn't have the link to SIMS, so it's manual entry, but other than that, I'm happy with what it does.

 

When I come to replace it, I will buy Inventry

I looked at them both a year ago when we moved into our new building, EntrySign to upgrade what we had, and Inventry to replace it. Inventry seemed to be much more full featured and well thought out, whereas EntrySign was only a slight upgrade on what we had currently with them. I was just more impressed with the Inventry system in general.
