Pearson CIDA - Adobe Photoshop & Creative Cloud

Hi All,

 

I'd like to know if your schools run the Pearson CIDA course for IT? If so do you use Adobe Photoshop via Adobe Creative Cloud suite? Or do you use another program? We're being asked to look at purchasing it but I'm trying to avoid it.

We're running CIDA and don't have CC if that helps. Not sure what they are using but guessing it's our old Photoshop (Not that I think photoshop is "needed" as such)

Thank You. We have an old copy of CS3 with a site licence but it won't install on Windows 10.

We're running a slightly-less-old Photoshop CS5, as we're site licensed for that. Adobe wanted ~£30k per year to license us for CC, so it went out the window fairly quickly.

 

I think we've used the Serif suite in the past, although you'll have to check whether or not they still sell site licenses for Pageplus/Photoplus/Webplus etc.
