Generate a reminder for staff

Hi all, first post so please be kind and first few months using SIMS. I know that sims allows staff to send messages to one another etc, but is there a way for SIMS to produce a notification/reminder that displays when Sims opens for the first time, such as "Have a relaxing half term" for example.

 

Any help would be greatfully appreciated

Couldn't you just use the normal homescreen reminders section? Like where it says reports due etc

Why not add a vbs script file to the logon section of GPO. If I have any important messages I do that so they see it when login and have to close it.
