I am supplying 2 laptops to a charity

They want Office 2016 on both

I assume I will have to purchase 2 copies, but can they sign in/download with one MS Account

I just found out you CANNOT download Office 2016 WITHOUT an MS account :mad2:

Thanks

Edited - see Arthur's post below

A commercial organisation has to buy two licenses for the commercial product.

See here: https://products.office.com/en-gb/compare-all-microsoft-office-products?tab=2

However, Arthur has pointed out that there's a not-for-profit licensing scheme that this charity can use if it has a charity number... see his post below.

I set my husband's laptop up for his business (he's a contractor ) and you can purchase as many licenses as you require with the one account set up for the business.

You must get one of these licenses rather than the personal version of office. It's all set up for you to register your VAT code, if you have one, with them. It's very straightforward.

Once Office is installed you can sign into Office with the same account on both machines if you wish.

It's worth encouraging them to save to OneDrive rather than the hard drive - everything is backed up!
