Senior IT Technician

37 hours per week (8.30am – 16.30pm Mon-Thurs, 8.30-16.00 Fri)

 

MK6 £21,962 – £26,822 based on being a full year role

 

This is a full year role which comes with 27 days holiday package

 

(Term Time + 2 weeks considered for those looking for a term time only role)

 

We are looking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic, confident IT practitioner who will manage a Junior IT Technician and facilitate any work that needs to be completed by the department. A full job description is available.

Duties will include:

Supporting staff in the use of IT hardware and software

Set up and build of laptops/desktops for new staff and following failure

Tasking of junior member to support in the delivery of IT helpdesk requests

Inventory access system management

Perform DSE assessments

The ideal candidate will have a pro-active approach to their work and be able to prioritise their workload. It is essential that applicants come with a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working within an ICT environment. Experience of school networks is advantageous.
