smurfomatic Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 I've played the sport of touch for many years, and my club are looking to spread the word about it (and also try and remove some of the association with rugby union which tends to scare off potential players). Below is a very rough version of an "introduction to touch": https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BybfjmEnhHC9OThmT3lJcWRDdFk Ignore the quality of the voiceover - we will get someone with a better voice (that is, anyone) to redo it - but wondering what people think about the content? Does this explain, in an easy to understand way, how to play the game? Obviously it's difficult to explain an entire sport in three minutes, especially with limited video available, but I need the point of view of people who've never heard of the sport before. I'm hoping you'll be kind...
smurfomatic Posted September 28, 2017 Author Posted September 28, 2017 Thanks - we've tried to run evenings where we "stage" some of these scenes so that they're run at a reasonable speed. However it's been rained off and we haven't had enough players turn up, so the only video we have is from one of our tournaments earlier this month.
smurfomatic Posted November 14, 2017 Author Posted November 14, 2017 For those few that may be interested - final version of the video (with a new voiceover and backing music) is here:
