ITGURU Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 I've noticed since the migration to Windows 10 and using WSUS to deploy updates that they don't always install at the scheduled time. Some updates particularly those that increase the build number can take a while so want to do at a weekend or out of hours. My plan would be to set the update to Approved, wake on LAN the computers on a Friday afternoon, then when auto-install and restart the update. This IS set in the GPO However, I know if I do this today the update will download but it won't necessary auto install and restart if needed at the scheduled time. What's the easy way to do this in bulk to save waiting for the WSUS delay? Is there a way to force install the update across all clients other than waiting or buying a product such as batchpatch.
