Outlook Web Access issue

Hi, All

 

I have an issue with Outlook which I am using at the moment. I am trying to send a email via Outlook Web Access on our school Intranet website & the area were I type my email in is coming up with a small x.

 

I was wondering if any one new how to fix this problem as normally on other laptops I've used it would ask me to install an ActiveX control but this time it doesn't

Yeh this is a common problem with IE7 and OWA, there is a server side fix for exchange that makes it work fine.

 

I think it might be in the latest service pack as well.

This problem was discussed recently. The problem does affect IE7, but only on Windows Vista.
