Folder Redirection change, not updating until delete local profile.

Installed a new file server during the summer hols.

 

Have updated the folder redirection paths but it seems like it isnt updating the machines when people login.

 

The only fix ive found is to delete the local profile.

 

Any ideas why this is happening?

Is there a reference to the old file server in the local default profile. Open the .dat file with reg edit and check for references to old file server.

Looking at the location of the documents it is still referencing to the old server.

Will try looking in that file.

Depending on how you created your default profile could still link to the old server. Had this a couple of time where the reference is still in the .dat file.
