TwistedHelixis Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Hello. The Sims summer update did not deploy to a client PC, I think it was a DNS IP issue which is now fixed, but it could also be that the computer has not been turned on for 3 weeks and I believe Solus3 will only try to update the clients for 2 weeks. Anyway, how do I now get the update to run on this one client? I can think of at least 2 ways that might work, 1. In Solus3 open Upgrades / Deployment History, highlight the Sims summer update and click Redeploy (does this try to deploy to all computers and servers even if they have the update)? or. 2. In Solus3 open Environment / Agents, highlight the computer and the click re install agent thanks for any advice
Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Redeploy will only send out the upgrade command to agents that don't have the latest version of SIMS, however, unless you've been on SOLUS 3.12 before you applied the summer upgrade you'll have to manually download it again from Capita's servers to avoid any issues. Also there is a consolidated Workstation Patch 4 coming out today. You could wait and just apply that tonight to all your machines.
LosOjos Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Simplest method for a single client is to open the SOLUS3 agent on the client (double click the blue/white 'profile' icon in the taskbar) and initiate the upgrade manually
