FN-GM Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Hello, Does anyone have one of these Chromebooks? I have one on trial from HP. When in tablet mode the volume buttons are upside down. Has anyone else found this? Thanks
Danp Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Was that the only issue @FN-GM ? How else were they?
FN-GM Posted September 8, 2017 Author Posted September 8, 2017 Really good, I would like them to be a little smaller, but they is just a preference. I am going to be placing an order. You can get £75 each cash back this month on them as well!

FN-GM Posted September 8, 2017 Author Posted September 8, 2017 The demo one I have has play, and the OS is on the stable release not beta. 1
Arthur Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) is that right? Nope! www.androidpolice.com/2017/07/27/hp-chromebook-x360-11-g1-ee-gets-android-app-support-chrome-os-stable-channel/ www.chromium.org/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-android-apps Edited September 8, 2017 by Arthur 1
techy32 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) These are touch screen Chromebooks? What is the price? And cashback? We are also looking Chromebooks for our sixth form students. Edited September 8, 2017 by techy32
FN-GM Posted September 8, 2017 Author Posted September 8, 2017 Just over £300 each for the 32GB 4GB RAM model. £75 trade in cash back. They are touch screen and can run android apps
techy32 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) Well that's out of our range. We have previously bought HP Chromebook G3 and G4. All under £200. This seem to be a good option at £225.... What is the screen size? Edited September 8, 2017 by techy32
FN-GM Posted September 8, 2017 Author Posted September 8, 2017 Those are not touch screen devices that flip back with 2 cameras. These are laptops and tablets in one. You are comparing apples and oranges.
rogerdnixon Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 The Lenovo Yoga N23 is also worth a look. Got a demo unit it and its pretty good + a lot cheaper than the HP - although no second camera. Might be a possibility for our new Y7's (instead or the Acer R11's that the rest have got).
