Sutton High School GDST require an ICT Technician. As a key member of the support staff you will be responsible for providing technical support for the school’s ICT systems. Key responsibilities include:

• The monitoring, maintenance, availability and integrity of the school's ICT infrastructure
  
• Understanding the teaching and learning needs of the school to support the delivery of the appropriate ICT systems
  
• Advise on system enhancements and make recommendations for improvements
  
• Resolving support issues and managing problems through to resolution
  
• Assist to ensure that robust data backup systems are in place and undertake periodic testing
  

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

• A strong and in depth technical understanding of ICT systems
  
• Proven experience of server and network infrastructure
  
• Experience of diagnosing and resolving complex technical errors
  
• Experience of providing advice and guidance to users in their use of ICT equipment
  
• Experience of devising system procedures and policies
  
• Experience of implementing ICT systems change
  
• Experience of implementing Apple Computer technology
  
• Experience in MDM solutions
  
• Experience in Hyper V and VMware platforms
