Initial boot into WDS/MDT produces no mouse or keyboard input

We have some Stone machines that when we come to image them and PXE boot into WDS we don't get any mouse or keyboard. We have to shut the machine down again and then second time round we do get a mouse and keyboard.

 

Anyone else come across this before?

We have had something like this in two issues

1 - some computers models with USB 3

2 - on pc that had a specific keyboard with inbuilt card reader again needed drivers putting in the boot image.

 

Both don't sound like they are the problems you are having as if it were a driver issue why would it work second time around.

 

Are you using an updated windows 10 boot image. If so try downgrading to win 7 boot or if not use a win 10 boot

Should have clarified - we are using a Windows 7 boot image.

Maybe worth trying a win 10 boot image?

It is possible it could be conflicting drivers in the boot image.

We had a hp model of machine that would select the wrong graphics driver but that was post install image not boot image
