mikemcsharry Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Is there a way to "automate" all the potential pupil logins to all the laptops in a class? We've had a few networking issues so I've changed the boot up gpo to 'wait for network before logging on' - this looks like it is working very reliably, although in afew cases there is a slightly longer delay at boot. Downside of this is it takes 2 logins to get the user settings correct on the laptop. Each class has 16 laptops and 30 children. First login is pretty slow then subsequent logins look pretty good. is there a script or similar which could log this list of users on and off twice on each machine Ta for any suggestions
6Foot2 Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Do you have Impero? (or similar) You could logon as one user at a selection of stations/all stations using this. I guess another classroom management product would have a similar function, but I have only used Impero since we went with our vanilla network (Before that it was Viglen Classlink, but that was ages ago!)
mikemcsharry Posted August 10, 2017 Author Posted August 10, 2017 hi dave - thanks for the suggestion - No, we don't have any classroom management software here
strawberry Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 AB tutor also does this, cheap enough to buy one licnese for it. Or you could use the demo for a shortwhile. Other than that you could write a script that changes the auto logon properties , writes a value then reboots.
