IT Support Engineer (1^st/2^nd line) – West London * URGENT *

Up to £30,000, plus 25 days holiday + public holidays and benefits (incl. training)

Our prestigious client, who operate a network of highly successful independent schools are looking for an IT Support Engineer with the passion and capability to progress their career up to a 2^nd / 3^rd line role, whilst learning and embracing new leading technologies.

 

Initially you will be working closely with the IT Support Team to provide 1^st and 2^nd line technical support across 4 of their schools.

Your main duties will include ensuring all incidents and requests are resolved, providing advice and solutions to the Head and Group IT Manager regarding the IT Systems, dealing with system faults and ensuring that all configurations, changes and systems are documented.

 

You will also, occasionally be expected to work out of normal working hours to ensure all systems remain fully functional.

Essential knowledge / experience :

 

· Previous experience within a 1^st/2^nd line support role, preferably within the Education Sector.

· Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.

· Personal motivation and enthusiasm to learn and progress.

 

 

 

Desirable knowledge / experience :

 

· Windows 10

· Azure (including Azure AD)

· Microsoft Systems Centre Configuration Manager

· Office 365

· SIMS or similar schools MIS system
