Our prestigious client, who operate a network of highly successful independent schools are looking for an IT Support Engineer with the passion and capability to progress their career up to a 2nd / 3rd line role, whilst learning and embracing new leading technologies. Initially you will be working closely with the IT Support Team to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across 4 of their schools. Your main duties will include ensuring all incidents and requests are resolved, providing advice and solutions to the Head and Group IT Manager regarding the IT Systems, dealing with system faults and ensuring that all configurations, changes and systems are documented. You will also, occasionally be expected to work out of normal working hours to ensure all systems remain fully functional. NB: This is a fantastic opportunity, with the potential to advance your career within the group, as our client are prepared to train and develop the right candidate. Essential knowledge / experience : · Previous experience within a 1st/2nd line support role, preferably within the Education Sector. · Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally. · Personal motivation and enthusiasm to learn and progress.
