LGfL youtube restricted mode and Smoothwall

We have restricted mode on for Youtube via LGfL. Staff have access to youtube but videos are centrally approved. This works great. Now we want to allow students to be able to watch certain approved videos. Some of these are embedded in other sites. Youtube itself still remains blocked by Smoothwall.

 

With the LGfL setup students would need to log in to youtube to be able to see approved videos. With Smoothwall blocking youtube but allowing certain videos this is not possible as students cannot sign in.

 

I was wondering if any other LGfL Schools utilised restricted mode in this way? If so how do you allow only certain videos for students?
