Trying to rebuild a RM One PC

 

MESSAEGE STATES - Boot disk failure insert system disk and press done

 

Done all that.. also not finding any USB Ports.. go through the BIOS aswell

I think your hard drive has died but you will have to do some checks.

 

First open the machine up and see if the wires are into the hard drive are plugged in correctly and also into the motherboard.

 

Now enter the bios and see if the hard drive is being detected.

 

Check that someone has not changed the boot order.

 

Make sure that someone has not left a floppy in the drive or in the cd drive.

 

Download the ultimate boot disk iso and burn it to a cd.

 

Change the boot order to boot from the cd first.

 

Insert the cd and boot the machine up.

 

Run some of the hard drive tests.
