VI Students screen sharing

We have a couple of VI students and need to be able to share what is on the teachers screen to the students iPad.

 

VI from the local authority keep telling me to use this and use that because other schools have but when I look into the licensing aspects of join.me or teamviewer etc, these are all bits of software that should be paid for and licensed correctly to use in the fashion we require, but, all VI say is other schools do it for free!

 

I am not prepared to fudge licensing rules it's not fair on us or the developers, so, does anyone have any suggestions on how to achieve this without any cost, the student needs to be able to walk into the classroom, open their ipad and get the teachers screen shared to them.
