JATSO Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 Hi All, One of my schools has requested that that I remove the attachment compliance to their domain as the LA has tried to send them an attachment and it has been removed. The attachment was is a .zip file which are removed along with some other file formats as part of the compliance. We also notice Smart notebook files get removed as well which is really annoying for some members of staff. Any recommendations on the best work around or should I remove the compliance. Their domain I just administer it. Thanks
fiza Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 I wouldn't remove restrictions for .zip files. Can they not utilise Google Drive and just add a link to the file instead of attaching it? 1
JATSO Posted June 28, 2017 Author Posted June 28, 2017 It's the council need i say more! The staff are happy to use Google Drive but when the sender hasn't surely the LA would have a secure portal rather than resorting to attachments.
