[sims] Doing away with House system

So, when I try to delete the current houses it says I have to move students to a new house - at present the school isn't planning on using a house system next year, so if I manually remove everyone from the houses, will I be ok?

 

Or does each student need to be assigned a house (I can't imagine every school uses a house system)?

From memory, they don't need to be in a house, but once house's have been created the pastoral structure will need at least one in place.

 

Call one "do not use" etc so the structure remains valid but dont assign anyone too it.
