tben2505 Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 Currently we put out the FIELD and attach staff to it, in order to supply staff to help with sports day. This however automatically turns the staff into invigilators for an exam, which cannot be changed, and confuses staff when they're told to invigilate exams on the field (no matter how hard we try to explain) Do people approach sports days in other ways to ensure staff know where to be, when, and perhaps most importantly, what for!? Cheers all T
Banjo Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 Easy fix - change the name from Field to 'Sports Day Cover on Field' The only other way of doing it is to TT the event and assign staff.
tben2505 Posted June 27, 2017 Author Posted June 27, 2017 Unfortunately it uses the short name of the "room" so says: "Invigilation for Exam in FIE" on the cover slip. It's a shame we can't incorporate NOTES from the cover into the email templates to staff...
Melgrange Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Hi I'm new to cover and have just been tasked with sorting out sports day cover. What does put out the field mean? Are you doing something specific and if so what? Thamks
