newpersn Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 We just had a batch of computers delivered from VeryPC Intel Pentium Dual Core (7th Gen). 4GB DDR4 120GB SSD (No DVD) 3 years warranty, for a good price (32 ordered) TAP licence will save you some money. (As the machines are underspec'ed. You can add ram afterwards.) But seems quick enough for a general use. The old ones (Core i3 2nd gen 4gb Ram 160GB HD) have replaced older Dell Optiplex's 330/360 around the site. Once we get the budget for next year i will replace the 160GB Spinners to 120GB SSD's Unsure what will happen next year as all our IT rooms will have SSD's.
