Social Engineering/Spear Phishing video - anyone got the link

Arghh! Pulling my hair out here!

 

I remember seeing a decent video a few months back about spear phishing/social engineering. It was a (female) ethical hacker explaining a story to camera about how she used social engineering and a spear phishing combination to phish a CEO of a company and bring pretty much the whole company to it's knees within a couple of days.

 

I think it was made by a large AV company- on the lines of Norton etc, but can't really remember!

 

Anyone got a link to it? Some of the Y6s here have shown an interest in hacking and think it'd be a great video to show them.

Looked through my browsing and YouTube history to no avail... really struggling to find it!

 

It's fairly vivid in my head; The hacker was sat at a Mac and explained the whole process- finding the CEO on facebook/LinkedIn, researching their family, planning the spear phishing attack and going through with it. The company's stock price sunk the day after because the CEO didn't respond to the hacker's blackmail attempt (or something like that) and information was leaked.

 

I think the actual story was fictional but it illustrated a good point about potential vulnerabilities and how social engineering worked.

Could it be a Barclays one? I've noticed a few good anti-phishing / social engineering ones from them recently.

Thanks for the replies. @southhamster - you're right! It was the Scottish lady who played it during her 'network infections' presentation. Sadly the link isn't in the downloadable slides on the RM Seminars page. I've fired off an email to RM and hope it'll get to her so she can provide the link! Will post it up here, of course, if I manage to get it.
