Deploy application to additional devices

Hi

 

Am new to sccm and have a query.

 

I created a device collection, then an application for deployment and that was successful. My question is:

 

If I add more devices to the collection, will they automatically get the application deployed to them or do I have to redeploy or somehow push it again so that the added devices get the application?

It will auto deploy to them assuming they haven't had the it already deployed from another device collection deployment.

Many thanks. That was my assumption, but I'm finding sccm difficult at times so wanted to be sure.

Just don't expect the applications to install right away, as soon as you add those machines to the device collection.

Yeah, I'm familiar with that little sccm quirk. I find it such a blunt tool having used BCX from Burconix.
