[sims] Report with attendance sessions for date range?

I cannot seem to figure a way , but in report designer can i get attendance data for a date range?

 

I need students UPN, Surname, Total Marks possible, Authorised absence and unauthorised absence , but for the range 1/1/17 to 16/4/17 .

 

I can get those fields on to a report no problem, but its coming back with 318 as possible marks so its recording it as of September i think. Any idea how to narrow the date range ?

The built in reports can handle this fine, do you need something that you can't get out of them?

Use the Attendance Marks sub-report - you can get a count of attendance marks and then set a filter to be over the chosen date range, and an additional one to set the required statistical meaning

Couldn't you do another sub report count filtering to all possible types of attendance codes?
