We have had Frog now for quite some years and a few years ago we stopped the maintenance as we have moved across to Moodle as our primary VLE. Of course there are still some departments that insist on using Frog so it needs to be live but the server is ageing and we have no real access since they stopped looking after it for us.

My main question is has anyone attempted to virtualise it themselves?

Normally with Windows I would use disk2vhd or similar to convert but with Linux I am left using something like DD https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/enterprise_admin/2010/05/13/linux-p2v-with-dd-and-vhdtool-easy-and-cheap/

Thats not where I see the problems I guess the biggest issue I see is getting into the console and setting the new interfaces up.

We use Hyper-V here so any pointers in doing so would be great.

Cheers
