[closed] misc: Can't clear conference notice

I am unable to remove the noticed by clicking on the X, anyone else having the same issue?

Have you tried clearing your cookies? [Log out of Edugeek and back in again]

I finally got rid of it by clearing it in the app!

elsiegee40 how did you do it in the app (presume you mean Android one), it doesn't appear in mine.

I went into webview and then cleared it there - might have been in the ios app.

 

I have an iphone and an android tablet and use both constantly so I can't be sure which I did it in.

Just used Chrome on my Android tablet and tried to clear it with no joy and that is the first time I have signed in on that.

Can you try now, it should be fixed I think. Its certainly not supposed to be permanent.

 

i got sick of it and ended up just blocking it with an add blocker.

 

If I had been aware of the issue I would have fixed it.

Yeah 99.99% sure it will be fine now, it was a simple problem to fix but I was not aware as it worked when I was testing.

It is linked to your account so it wont show up when you log in again.

 

EDIT: It has been disabled now anyway as we are a day away from the conf but any future ones should work as expected unless they are specifically enabled (aka its important) but thats very rare.
