We have been looking at setting up e-mail filtering for e-Safety.

So far under Apps>G Suite>Settings for Gmail>Advanced settings we have set up a content compliance list with a few rude words in it. This appears to be working, however if we try to add a phrase for example 'meet me at' we get alerts for each of the words rather than the phrase as a whole.

How do I get alerts for phrases rather than individual words?

Has anybody else set up email filtering in GSuite?

Am I going about it the right way?

For a list of just words, use the "Objectionable content" option. For a phrase, use "Content compliance" and select "Advanced content match" and then "contains text". The it will look for the string, rather than just the word (see: https://support.google.com/a/answer/1346934?hl=en). We just use about 20 objectionable content words and leave the clever stuff to Securly Auditor. This is free to all Edu domains - even if you don't use their content filter (which we do). https://www.securly.com/auditor
