woody Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 We have a member of staff who has managed to catch a virus via bluetooth on his phone called CommWarrior We have searched the web but not really come up with a lot. The virus affects the Symbian OS and transmits vie bluetooth and MMS. It sounds nasty but if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. TA!

Seems like a nasty one, it sends itself to everyone in your phone book! Ask him the question, why the hell did he say yes when it asked him if it he wanted to install it! It doesn't just install by itself!
indie Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Or to cut a long story short, open the wap browser on the phone and go to: http://mobile.f-secure.com install the f-secure antivirus app and it should get rid of it.
