mikkydoos Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Hi all, need a bit of help please with my WSUS configuration. Noticed today that there are tons of updates that are not being automatically approved. They are mainly MS Office 2016 updates and are in the Critical Updates and Security Updates categories. Approval rule: Unapproved updates: We don't have many Office 2016 machines here yet but they should still be being approved. Can anyone see anything wrong here ? Cheers in advance
computer_expert Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 I think you need to tick the box next to the rule in the first screenshot. The rules I have on my server are checked and approve the updates fine 1
mikkydoos Posted May 23, 2017 Author Posted May 23, 2017 Cheers @computer_expert. I think you're right there. Never noticed that boxes need to be physically checked. I'm trying to run the rules now but MMC keeps crashing. Infuriating.
