IT Technician (1st/2nd Line) – Buckinghamshire *URGENT / ASAP*

£24,000 (Full Time, Permanent), 25 days holiday (plus bank hols) and benefits.

Our client, a leading Independent Schools Group are looking for an experienced ICT Support Technician to provide day-to-day ICT support for the staff and students at one of their school sites in Buckinghamshire.

 

As the ICT Support Technician, you will liaise with the School staff and ICT Service Desk to identify, prioritise and resolve all ICT support and service requests.

 

Other duties will include managing the ICT support activities for a small number of schools in the group including possible travel within Bedford/Milton Keynes (if required).

 

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience supporting IT within a school or college and be able to drive, with access to a car or motorbike.

 

Essential Technical skills include :

• Windows Server 2008 / 2012 (Administration)

• Active Directory and Group Policy

• Windows 7 / 8 / 10

• MS Office 10 / 13 / 365 / suites

• LAN / WAN

• DNS / DHCP

• VLAN

• SIMS support

 

Any experience of Wireless technologies, Apple Macs, iPads and VM Ware is also highly desirable.
