error404 Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 Hey, Recently we migrated all our users from Exchange to Office 365, a handful of staff members uses Egress for sending/receiving secure emails to external organisations Ever since we have migrated users (Who uses egress) are able to send emails and it is being delivered and recieved, however when recipients who uses egress tries sending an email to any of our users on our domain nothing is being recieved despite being sent I have logged this with egress but just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar like this? Thanks
error404 Posted May 18, 2017 Author Posted May 18, 2017 Managed to figure out this problem if anyone has issues in future some routing needs to be setup both from egress side and also our Office 365 admin side! Best to speak to them if anyone has this issue
FN-GM Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Did you know Office 365 includes free encryption so you don't need to pay for Egress? 1
error404 Posted May 18, 2017 Author Posted May 18, 2017 Did you know Office 365 includes free encryption so you don't need to pay for Egress? Oh...didn't realize? we quite new to all this.. I just had a quick look and yes you are right will need to look into that Do you know though if this will work if users within our organization sends emails to other organization? some of our users regular send confidential stuff to LEAs / Councils etc Thanks for headup ill need to look into that!
FN-GM Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Yep, will work with any other provider. It works better with other Office 365 users. We use it to send to the LA regular.
DrCheese Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Hi, As I understand it tho, in the standard Office365 encryption tho you can't revoke a message after it's been sent - i.e Staff member emails confidential data (That's encrypted) using office 365. The user then uses a Microsoft account to sign in and view. If this is a pre existing office 365 account it uses that, if not they are asked to sign up for a microsoft account and use that For whatever reason, we to revoke that access later on (It's happened, we had a staff member email data home they shouldn't have done & was dealt with) We can't. With other solutions you can?
