Cisco interface card?

Im trying to price up an ethernet interface card for our Cisco 2801 router. The card is to be used for a DMZ so i only need 1 port, although i see no reason why i wouldnt get a 4port should it be not much more expensive (leaves room for a totally seperate wirreless network then).

 

I think ive found what i want but would like confirmation, if anyone in the know could please link me to one id be really grateful.

 

Ill post up the one ive found if you ask but want to see what others come up with on their own.

For the 2801 i would recommend a HWIC etherswitch module such as;

 

HWIC-4ESW (4 port etherswitch) or

HWIC-4ESW-POE (4 port eterswitch with PoE)

 

The older WIC ethernet interface cards may work, but i believe they've been superseded by the HWIC etherswitch models, and are only marginally cheaper;

 

WIC-1ENT (1 port ethernet)

WIC-4ESW (4 port etherswitch)

 

There is a single port routed fast ethernet HWIC but that costs an arm and a leg. Avoid;

 

HWIC-1FE

 

My recommendation would be to go for the 4-port HWIC-4ESW
