purpleoakley Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Hi, I have a school that use Apple Configurator to look after their iPad's. they have purchased some Blue Bots but the iPad can't seem to find it when you turn Bluetooth on and on the odd occasion it odes find it it says unable to conenct but no other helpful error codes. I've been through all the restrictions that have been set but can't find anything that would stop Bluetooth connection. Any ideas? Thanks
tmoon-mint Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 I was scratching my head at this last week. If I connected via the Blue Bot app it worked fine. Connecting from the settings app gave me the error you're getting, very strange. You can get the app from here: https://volume.itunes.apple.com/gb/app/blue-bot/id957753068?mt=8&term=blue%20bot&l=en&ign-mpt=uo%3D4
simonw Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 The Blue Bots we have only work with iPad version 3 and above, as they use Bluetooth 3/4. My SLT bought Blue Bots without checking the spec so we ended up having to buy iPad Air's to use the darn things, as our iPad 2's are only Bluetooth 2. HTH 1
