abillybob Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Hello All Hope one of you can help. I have a teacher here who is having intermittent problems with his computer. When showing a full screen powerpoint he will successfully freeze the screen on our Promethean ActivBoard Touch Screens TV's but then when he "esc" out of the PowerPoint the screen will just go blue as if nothing is connected to it? Any of you come across this issue before? Thanks in advance!!

Trevell Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Go to the Slideshow tab, un-tick Use Presenter View and then re-save the powerpoint. For some reason this is set as default in Office 2013.
jon_nais Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 You can set Office 2013 to not use presenter view via a registry setting site wide details can be found here: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/a91dea3b-9c88-4d2b-9545-e48c3055a16c/powerpoint-2013-presenter-view-is-a-big-issue?forum=officeitpro
abillybob Posted May 8, 2017 Author Posted May 8, 2017 Just an update. It's not a setting on office, presenter view and things like that are already turned off. It's a problem with his laptop as it has two Graphics Cards and is switching between the two thus creating a problem with the output on the screen when the GPU's switch over. I disabled one of the GPU's to prevent it happening just in case someone else has the same issue. Thanks everyone though, most appreciated.
