Set internet home page as a user policy

Hi all,

 

I would really like to set a custom staff splash page as the home page for our staff users but obviously not for students. The ADMX files for Google Chrome do not seem to allow me to do this as a user policy (option is there but does not work)

 

Has anyone successfully done this? I would like to set it for Chrome and Edge.

 

If anyone knows how to do this with a script or any other method I would be very grateful.

For Chrome try disabling the "Use New Tab Page as homepage" setting in the Chrome GP - people have reported this as working.

 

I had the exact same issue when we used Windows 7. It didn't happen on Windows 10, now we have retired Windows 7 so I haven't tried the about.
