Cloud backup - what do you backup?

I am in the process of looking at cloud backup services. Can I ask what do you guys backup to cloud backup? And how much you have backed up? E.g. 1TB

 

E.g. Just sims database, all staff documents but not student documents, do shared drives get included?

 

Trying to cost out the options.

Is this your only backup? If so why not student docs? They are just as important especially if exam work.

No we have disk to disk at two ends of the school. This is just if there was a complete burn down of the site for example. It might be that we back everything up but some suppliers have implied this is not what most schools do.

Here if someone can create/write/delete it it's backed up. I have a big 30tb nas that does a rolling copy of all data files, it goes back about 18 months in its recovery scope. I also have two DPM servers, one in the far side of site 1 and another over the road. If I loose all three sites simultaneously then I reckon the airbase up the road must have gone bang...

 

No cloud backups here but am thinking of setting up a vpn to my twin school and backing up to them.

 

In my mind there is no such thing as too many copies!!
