Windows 10 updates - Sorry, I have looked

Hi,

 

I've changed something on my WSUS settings and now I can't manually retry the updates as it says the settings are managed by the our organisation. I've been trying to fix the unreliable nature of ours... I check and trhey say failed, I slick retry and they install but some stop at downloading 100% which only carry on after restarting the WU service.

 

Anyway, does anyone know the setting in GP that stops you manually installing updates. I've tried the telemetry fix on the web but I am sure someone on here mentioned a similar issue and a fix.

As far as I'm aware all Update settings are located at Computer Config > Admin Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update. The option I can see which may cause this is "Remove access to use all Windows Update features"

I sorted it, there was a setting that argued with another one and disabled the settings.

 

On a similar note I decided to rip my WSUS out and stick on its own hardware... Server 2016 on an old HP Microserver and a lot of my issues have disappeared with failed updates and servers not talking back. It was a grind to approve the updates initially but now its running like a dream.
