Theldron Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Hi, I have been asked by the Head to look into this. If a student fails a detention, can we have a notification sent to specific people automatically? I suspect this would have to be done manually but thought I would check. Cheers
mattstevenson2005 Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 You can use command line reporter to generate a report based on your own query e.g detentions not attended. We wrote some custom software that basically extracts all the detentions from sims issued on that day, then it emails the students and the parents of the students that evening. It also generates a behaviour report each evening of all the issues (resolved and ongoing) for that day and emails it to the correct head of year. If your good at programming you can use command line reporter to get anything out of sims then do with the data what you want 1
Theldron Posted April 4, 2017 Author Posted April 4, 2017 Thanks Matt, I thought I would probably have to use command reporter. Thing is I wish I was good at programming, but children laugh at my programming ability, even my 9 week old daughter would laugh.
vikpaw Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Do you have the InTouch module? If anything was going to do it easily, that would be the place.
