McAfee DLP 10 Features Removed

Having Updated from DLP 9 to DLP 10, McAfee have advised that the 'Device Unplug' event has been removed from the software. Not sure why they would do it, and it was only after they remoted on, checked the event was ticked to be reported in EPO, they cold not work out why it wasn't working. A few days later their response was, the feature has been removed.

 

Device Plug still gets reported, but device unplug no longer exists, however it has proved valuable as if a user leaves a usb device connected and walks about, i have used the unplug event to successfully retrieve devices that have been removed by other users, as it will report the date,time and who by.

 

I have submitted a change report so if anyone could help get this feature put back in, please vote here
