We're currently looking at our options for when we go Windows 10, hopefully during Summer. One thing we really want to do is have an easy mapping to users OneDrive accounts as well as shared areas for staff and students alike.

Testing works very well with both the above options, however uploading to either Sharepoint or Onedrive is extremely slow. This is most notable when copying a fair few photos for instance, you can see the speed rises to a whopping 2Mbps for each file, flattens to zero while it thinks about the next file, finds it then copies, as if it's manually copying one after another. Although I understand this is effectively uploading to IIS/webdav on 365, is there any way of speeding this up? As it stands it's probably only really usable for quick access to reading single files but probably not a lot more.

Sad to say, this is our experience too...if anyone has found anyway of improving it, I'd be interested. As it stands, it's too slow to be workable. Like you say, it isn't a fault in IAC or CDM but webdav itself, especially in how windows and webdav handles large files.
