Badzeye Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Hello all, happy friday! I was wondering about office 365 education licensing. Currently all our staff are on office 365 education plus and some have figured out that can install office using their accounts. If they used this on a home pc thats ok? as the license is still ours and can be deactivated when they leave etc.
snagrat Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Yes it's OK. As soon as they leave the org and you disable/delete the account then the home software will stop working. It's all done through the Licenses you assign them
mavhc Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 AIUI once you deactivate their account, Office stops working/goes into unlicensed mode. As it's all online activation I guess it's up to MS if they want to deactivate it.
