Import pptx into smart notebook error

We are having a problem trying to import some powerpoint files into smart notebook.

 

When we try to import it, it comes up with an error saying "Install Visual Basic for Applications". We have checked and that is already installed. Anyone any ideas?

Which version of Smart Notebook / Office are you running? We have Smart Notebook 11.4 here and had the same issue with PowerPoint and Office 2016. We ended up loading an older version of Office on to a machine and using that to convert files between the two. Fortunately we only have a couple of staff using Smart Notebook so can convert the files as they need them.
